Dad had his by-pass today and I spent most the day and night at the hospital. I think I had my camera with me, but forgot to use it. I got this photo from Mom's cell phone! It's me and my sister waiting while Dad was in surgery. Anyway, lots of memories from this day. My sister and I were checking out a book sale in the hospital lobby when Mom called and said Dad is being prepped so we ran up to help and then while he was in the holding room before the surgery Uncle Cliff (Dad's brother) and Samara (my cousin) showed up from Kansas to support us. My dear friend Debbie came and supported us while we ate dinner while Dad was in surgery after she picked up Kayla from school and then got my boys from my neighbor that was watching them while I was at the hospital with Mom. I totally spaced the fact that Zach didn't have school today, so I had to get someone to watch the boys. Crazy life, but I am very thankful for all the friends and family that were there to help me. Dad did GREAT during surgery, now it's time for the really long haul of recovery! I am sure we will all make it through this, but we really don't want to have to go through it again.
